Air bubbles lead to reduced capacity in a water-transmission installation. Also, excessive underpressure in an installation can cause damage.

The BERMAD programme of air and vacuum release valves comprises 4 different types. It is possible to select the correct type in accordance with the installation to protect the system.

Automatic 1" air release valve (A). To release "entrapped" air bubbles in pressure systems.
Automatic 2" air and vacuum release valve (K). With a wide passage for kinetic air discharge or supply during filling or draining of the installation.
Combined 2" air and vacuum release valve (A). One model combining the features of the above types.
½" vacuum release valve (A) prevents underpressure in an installation.
